Refundable Deposit - Why do I have to pay this?
For every Balloon Race Kit or Balloon Release Kit you order we give you a standard hire period of 21 days for the Balloon Gas Cylinders and valves.
The Balloon Gas Cylinders are either collected by you or delivered to you, and the hire period starts from that day.
It is expected that you will return the Balloon Gas Cylinders, or arrange with us to have them collected, within the 21 day hire period.
While most of our customers return the Balloon Gas Cylinders within the 21 day hire period, unfortunatley we do have customers who fail to return the Gas Cylinders on time.
We get charged late return rental charges by the Balloon Gas Suppliers and we have to pass this additional charge on to those customers.
If you return the Balloon Gas Cylinders and Valves within the 21 days the £100.00 deposit will be refunded in full.
If the Balloon Gas Cylinder and the Valve are not returned within the 21 days hire period a late rental charge of £6 per week (or part week) is payable for each Gas Cylinder and for each Valve. This £12 per week is deducted from the £100 deposit. Any balance of the deposit will be refunded to you once the Gas Cylinder and the Valve are returned.
After 6 weeks overdue, any Balloon Gas Cylinders or Valves will be deemed to be lost & further charges will apply.
